title: 3D Carbon Nanotube Structures for MEMS applications.

Michael Devolder performed his PhD research on MEMS actuators at the
University of Leuven and in part at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
He then worked at the KULeuven, imec, MIT and Harvard University as a
postdoc researcher in the field of nanotechnology before taking up a
faculty position at the Department of Engineering at the University of
Cambridge. He is a recipient of an ERC Starting and Consolidator grant
as well as several industrial and academic awards including the Iwan
Akerman Award, the Barco High-Tech Award and he is a Laureate of the
Belgian Royal Academy.
